Life Science Industry Training and Regulatory Asset Management Conference Announced by Blue Mountain Quality Resources and eCalibration.com

The Regulatory Asset Management Conference, May 21 in Boston, helps people navigating the growing demand for harmonizing maintenance, calibration and validation management. Sigma-Aldrich Achieves Double Accreditation as a Certified Reference Material Producer Following ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34

Sigma-Aldrich(TM) announced that its laboratory for the production of Certified Reference Materials (CRM) in Buchs, Switzerland, received double accreditation following ISO/IEC 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" and ISO Guide 34 "General requirements for the competence of reference material producers."

For Reference Materials producers, this combination of accreditations is the highest achievable level of quality assurance. CRM, which are produced under these guidelines, are characterized by highest accuracy and comprehensive documentation. The certificates contain all information about purity, traceability, uncertainty and expiration dates, as well as handling and storing instructions. With the recently introduced TraceCERT(R) product line (http://www.sigma-aldrich.com/tracecert), Sigma-Aldrich has launched its first CRM series produced under this double accreditation.
