New Benchtop CMM From Mahr Federal Integrates Three
Sensing Technologies

The new MarVision Multiscope 222 3D CMM from Mahr Federal is a compact, benchtop coordinate measuring machine designed specifically to accommodate multiple sensing technologies including touch probe, vision and laser sensors. The integrated design of the Multiscope 222 assures that the precise relationship between features is preserved, regardless of which combination of sensors is used. The MS 222 CMM provides many advanced features found only on larger multisensor systems, but at a fraction of the cost.

The MS 222 is ideal for complex measurement tasks which require fluent and flexible sensing technology. Precise contact measurement combined with non-contact methods facilitates measurement of difficult-to-reach features or parts which could be deformed or damaged by contact sensing. This dramatically improves accuracy and productivity by reducing the need to set up the part on multiple gaging systems.
