• The PGC/EdgeTech Model EC4 Relative Humidity and Temperature Calibration Chamber is 4.5 cubic feet and combines the well known quality and durability of the PGC line with the proven technology of the EdgeTech hygrometer. This chamber can be used for research and production testing, in addition to quality control applications requiring humidity and temperature control within very narrow tolerances. The NIST traceable EdgeTech chilled mirror hygrometer provides accuracies of measurement and control not attainable in most calibration systems.
• DeFelsko® Certified thickness standards are ideal for checking calibration and operation of coating thickness gages and are an important component in fulfilling both ISO and in-house quality control requirements. All standards described below are supplied with a certificate of calibration showing traceability to NIST/NPL.
• Mini-Regulation Handbooks, handy pocket sized booklets are an ideal way to keep everyone informed of GMP Regulations. A necessity for all employees, supervisors, managers, and professionals to keep as a ready reference. Mini-Regs are an excellent way to provide a GMP review since they are an exact copy of the GMP regulation as it appears in the Code of Federal Regulations.
• Flow Dynamics, Inc. is offering gas and liquid flow measurement courses this fall. A liquid flow measurement course is scheduled for October 16 - 19, 2001 where students will understand the optimum selection and use of liquid flowmeters. The course will also cover how to calibrate liquid flowmeters using primary and secondary flow standards. A gas flow measurement course is scheduled for October 22 - 25, 2001. This course will explain the optimum selection and use of gas flowmeters. Students will learn how to calibrate gas flowmeters using primary and secondary flow standards. The classes will be held at Flow Dynamics location in Scottsdale, Arizona. Future classes are planned for April 2002.
• Mahr Federal's PRIMAR universal measuring system, combining a precision 4-axis CMM, form measurement system, and gear checker, has been enhanced with a wide range of application family software modules and a new 3-axis scanning probe.
• Pinpoint Laser Systems, Inc. has introduced a new series of Laser Microgage 1000 Alignment Kits. The Laser Microgage 1000 is a popular laser transmitter and digital receiver system used throughout industry for precision mechanical alignment of machinery and equipment.
• The Endevco Model 28959F/FV Portable Accelerometer Calibrator provides precision calibration for charge mode piezoelectric, voltage mode piezoelectric, piezoresistive and variable capacitance accelerometers in the field or on site. It is also ideal for test engineers and technicians needing on-site end-to-end calibration of their complete measurement chain.
• From United Instruments, Model LPC-30 low-pressure calibration systems measure and generate gauge and differential pressures in the range of -30-30 in. of water.
• Sensor Developments, Inc. is pleased to offer its custom strain gaging services for the repair and calibration of transducerized torque nut runners.
• The Model 325 Precision Transducer Simulator and Weigh System Calibrator from Thermo BLH supplies high accuracy millivolt-per-volt level signals for testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting process weigh system instrumentation.
• ThermaCal Inc. manufactures unique Temperature Calibrators to test RTD, thermocouple, and other temperature sensors. The Model 20 has COOL and HEAT Sources in one instrument covering the range -40° C to 700° C.
• Fluke's 5000A-RH/T precision humidity and temperature data logger enables you to monitor ambient temperature and humidity in calibration environments. It is a compact, convenient alternative to pen-style humidity chart recorders and bulky temperature monitors.
