SEPTEMBER
2002 PRODUCT NEWS
- Thermo
Orion, a Thermo Electron business and leader in the development
and manufacturing of chemical measurement products, announces the No
Cal electrode to add to an already impressive pH electrode line.
- Anritsu
Company introduces the 36584 series AutoCal modules that provide
fast, repeatable, and high-quality coaxial calibrations for 2-, 3- and
4-port S-parameter requirements.
- DH Instruments
introduces the FPG 8601 automated calibration
system for very low pressure. Traceable automated calibration of ranges
as low as 13 Pa (100 m Torr). The
FPG8601 addresses the need for a means of maintaining long term traceability
with very low uncertainty in the pressure range under that covered by
conventional piston gauges.
- The DryCal
ML-500 primary flow calibrator from Bios International is the first
in the Met Lab line of high-precision, cost-effective primary gas flow
calibration standards.
- DHI's third generation
pressure controller/calibrator, the PPC3
- breaks new ground with an unprecedented combination of high end performance,
operational versatility and long term reliability.
- Ruska
Instrument Corporation announces the introduction of CalManager
II (CM2); a new Windows® based automated solution for performing pressure
calibrations with Ruska and Druck automatic pressure controller/calibrators.
- All Analytical
Products Group, Inc.'s. inorganic reference materials are tested
and verified to meet the ISO Guide 35 Certified Reference Material guidelines.
- Techne's
UCAL400+ calibrator heater provides a safe, dry, constant temperature
source. It is fast and economical and can be used either on a bench
top or as a portable field unit. The weight of the unit is only nine
pounds/four kilograms.
- The newest Quality
Press publications catalog features more than 40 new items. Of particular
interest to the calibration community may be The
Uncertainty of Measurements: Physical and Chemical Metrology - Impact
and Analysis, written by Kimothis, S. K., which explains the
importance and uncertainty of measurements.
- The PGC/EdgeTech
30 cu. ft. chamber is the largest calibration
chamber on the market today. It is ideal for simultaneous testing
of several large items, like temperature/humidity recorders.
- Edison ESI Introduces
MudCats Calibration Process Manager SE.
MUDCATS Calibration Process Manager was designed and developed by Edison
ESI Metrology Engineering Services, a subsidiary of Southern California
Edison for use in our fifteen laboratories and is now available to the
metrology community.
