• New JOFRA CSC series of compact signal calibrators for loop or temperature testing and calibration. There are two models in this series: CSC100 Loop Calibrator - read and source mA and VDC with HART capability and the CSC200 is engineered for the calibration of temperature instruments offering the ability to measure and simulate several different types of RTDs and TCs.
• Troemner introduces new 200g weight sets. Traditional 100g weight sets are not sufficient to calibrate the new higher capacity analytical balances which can go up to 500g. Troemner’s 200g (2) weight sets are supplied with Troemner’s Alloy 8 analytical style weights – designed for your most precise weighing needs.
• AOAC International offers many valuable resources to meet the needs of your laboratory. Publications available include: The AOAC Accreditation Criteria for Laboratories Performing Food Chemistry, Testing, Food Microbiological Testing, and Pharmaceutical Testing, Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC International, 17th Edition, and Quality Assurance Principles for Analytical Laboratories, 3rd Edition. These publications provide assistance in laboratory compliance with ISO 17025.
• Endevco's Model 63C12/C13 Accelerometer offers superior modal analysis. The Model 63C12/C13 is a compact triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer. The accelerometer also features Endevco’s unique Smart ISOTRON® and i-TEDS™ capabilities. Built-in digital memory chips store information such as sensitivity, location, and calibration coefficients as a Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS).
• Agilent Technologies offers discount on combined purchase of extended warranty and calibration plans for new Agilent T&M equipment. Extended warranty and calibration plans already reduce costs by offering a savings of at least 12 percent, and as much as 90 percent, over non-contractual services.
• Official Brochure on the International System of Units (SI) produced by BIPM is available free-of-charge on BIPM's web site. The publication explains how the SI units are used in practice and defines a policy with respect to the use of non-SI units in combination with those of the SI.
• UCAL400+ Portable Dri-Block Calibrator from Techne Inc. includes these features: Lightweight, Wide temperature range, Independent over-temperature cutout, Maximum temperature of 430°C/806°F, Built rugged for portable field use and much more.
• Isotech North America has completed a 116-page catalog detailing its complete line of temperature calibration equipment. The new full-color “Complete Databook” is available free of charge and includes equipment for the Primary Laboratory and the Secondary Laboratory – as well as Industrial Calibrators, Infrared Calibrators, Calibration Software, and Thermocouple Referencing Units.
• Martel offers the LCC 421 economy series voltage/current calibrator. The LCC 421 is a portable instrument for calibrating process devices and measuring process signals. Some features include adjustable precision 0-24 mA current source and an adjustable ±199.9 mV DCV source.
• Hart Scientific, the world leader in temperature calibration products and services, introduces the Model 5577 Intrinsically Safe Handheld Reference Thermometer. Manufactured by Dostmann for Hart, the 5577 is a portable reference thermometer capable of operating in specified hazardous environments.
