  • The PTC-8001 Precision Universal Temperature Calibrator from Martel calibrates virtually all widely used thermocouples and RTD types, to an accuracy of +/-0.4° (Type J) and +/-0.3°C (4W PT385 RTD), all errors included.
  • Dwyer Instruments, Inc., has released a new catalog for the Severe Service and Laboratory Applications market- The Specialty Gages Catalog.
  • The Integrated Sciences Group announces a major upgrade of the world's most powerful and versatile tool for analyzing reporting measurement uncertainty.
  • Clean Room Weight Cases from Troemner are approved for use in all clean room environments including Class 1. Cases are constructed of clear acrylic with extruded aluminum edges and plated steel hardware.
  • Upcoming PTi Courses For Laboratory Professionals - Validation and Calibration of Laboratory Instruments - GMP regulations require that, "calibration shall be performed by personnel having the necessary education, training and experience." This comprehensive training course begins with an in-depth review of updated GMP regulations and standards, including ISO/IEC 17025. Then the latest FDA and ISO requirements for increasing quality in validating, qualifying and calibrating chromatography laboratory instruments are reviewed.
  • The Novatech Instrument’s Synthesized Rubidium Frequency Standard Model 2955AR is ideal for use as a master oscillator in laboratories and ground stations, as well as for test and calibration applications.
  • The CEESI (Colorado Engineering Experiment Station, Inc.) School of flow measurement celebrates its 11th anniversary in 2003.   • The Heise PTE-1 has set a new standard for precision pressure test and measurement instrumentation. With the unique Quick Select® modular sensor system, the PTE-1 can be easily configured to measure ranges from 0-.25” H2O to 0-10,000 psi.
  • Fluke announces new MET/CAL® Plus calibration procedures for Tektronix TDS 5000, 6000 and 7000 Series scopes. The new calibration procedures reduce performance-verification time to approximately 60 minutes or less, which offers a substantial reduction in downtime.
