- The
Wizard Plus is a PDA Torque and Force Analyzer from Mountz Inc.,
that can be used for torque calibration, joint testing, auditing or
for force and load measurement or verification of load cells. The Wizard
Plus is CF2 Card that plugs into a Pocket PC or Laptop/PC. It features
the ability for SPC testing and producing ISO calibration certificates.
- Temex Time, a Business
Unit of Temex and a global supplier of low-cost Rubidium and high-precision
timing solutions, announced the iTest+ GPS PicoReference
for advanced test, measurement, laboratory and calibration applications.
- Automated
Precision, Inc. (API) has announced the official launch of the XD Series
Laser Measurement System. The XD Laser provides unparalleled productivity
for machine tool calibration. The system is designed to grow with the
needs of a customer. The New Series includes four models with the capability
to measure Linearity, Straightness, Pitch, Yaw and Roll.
- Agilent Technologies
Inc. introduced a series of four portable, digital-storage oscilloscopes
(DSOs) for about 20 percent less than equivalent products with comparable
quality, performance and features. With bandwidths of 60, 100, 150 and
200 MHz, the Agilent DSO3000 Series offers
two channels and a color display with almost 20 percent more waveform
viewing area.
- Yokogawa,
an innovator in test and measurement equipment, is offering its signalXplorer
DL9000 Series of high-bandwidth, high-speed digital oscilloscopes without
the premium price tag. Features include 1 and 1.5 GHz bandwidth with
four analog channels; scalable memory that maintains high-speed acquisition;
and real-time statistical representation of waveforms.
- PCB Piezotronics,
a provider in the design and manufacture of piezoelectric, piezoresistive,
dynamic, capacitive and strain gage sensors for test and measurement,
announced that a two-day seminar, entitled,
"The Successful Measurement of Dynamic Force, Pressure and Acceleration",
will be held May 24th thru May 26th, near its corporate headquarters
outside Buffalo, New York.
- Sypris Test & Measurement's
hands-on course, Total Expanded Measurement
Uncertainty , is primarily used to determine the reliability
of the calibration data and test instruments. This course provides an
understanding of Type A/B uncertainties, manufacturer specifications,
errors associated with the different measurements, confidence levels,
degrees of freedom, student T-Tables, and combining uncertainties.
