Practical Instrument Electronics (PIE) has come out with revolutionary features that help the technician do their job better and also save time. These features are excellent tools for the technician as a trouble shooting tool. PIE products are also very simple to use. The interface has been designed to simplify operation and to almost eliminate operators needing to be trained or to read large manuals. PIE manuals are only 4 pages. Once you operate one of the PIE models you basically know how to operate all of them.

These models are model 512, 512S and 525 with Auto Wire connection detection indicator. This will help the technician if they have the calibrator connected wrong or if there is a possible wiring problem.

The model 532 has a patent pending feature that is being received very well and is getting GREAT reviews from the technicians. The 532 model has the Loop Diagnostics feature. In Loop Diagnostic Mode, the loop current, voltage, impedance, AC voltage, and mode of operation are all displayed simultaneously eliminating the need of a DMM connection. Loop diagnostics is available in every mode of operation and truly is a diagnostic monitor, as parameters are continuously updated in real time. The smart diagnostic tool even indicates the most likely cause of loop failure! Loop Diagnostic features the ability to measure ground fault error caused by faulty wiring, flooded conduit and corrosion bridges.
